Pay: $70,000–$80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

About the Opportunity

Artistic Pavers Manufacturing is looking for an organized, hands-on Plant Scheduler to help keep our manufacturing operation running efficiently.

This position is responsible for planning and coordinating daily production schedules to ensure customer orders are completed on time, materials are available, and production priorities are clear across the plant.

You'll work closely with Production, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution to balance customer demand with actual plant capacity, equipment availability, staffing, and material inventory.

The ideal candidate understands manufacturing operations, enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment, and can adjust schedules when priorities change. This is an active, plant-focused role that requires regular communication with team members on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Develop, maintain, and communicate daily and weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate production priorities across manufacturing lines and shifts to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Adjust schedules based on equipment availability, staffing, material shortages, and changing customer demands.
• Work closely with Production leadership to keep jobs moving and minimize production delays.
• Monitor production progress and identify scheduling issues before they impact deliveries.

Work Orders & Inventory Coordination

• Create, manage, and close production work orders in NetSuite.
• Maintain accurate production schedules and work order information in the ERP system.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with the appropriate teams to address shortages before production is scheduled.
• Work with Distribution to align production timing with inventory requirements and shipping schedules.

Communication & Performance

• Coordinate daily with Sales and Customer Service regarding order priorities and delivery expectations.
• Communicate production schedule changes to the appropriate departments.
• Participate in daily production meetings to review priorities, production progress, and potential challenges.
• Track production schedule performance and help identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, and on-time completion.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in production scheduling, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field preferred. Equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience will also be considered.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish, written and spoken (required).
• Experience using an ERP/MRP system for production planning and work order management. NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to understand production priorities, material requirements, and scheduling constraints.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and make scheduling adjustments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable spending time on the production floor working directly with plant personnel.
